^8 (A)And he said, Take heed, that ye be not deceived: for many will come ^[a]in my Name, saying, I am Christ, and the time draweth near: follow ye not them therefore.

^9 [b]And when ye hear of wars and seditions, be not afraid: for these things must first come, but the end followeth not by and by.
